If you are overweight and feel unhealthy a change in mindset is essential.
I was 52 this month, and physically things are very different now than 15 years ago, back then if I wanted to lose weight I simply cut down on food, now that system doesn't seem to work quite so well lol. However, this has also taught me that it's mindset that has a lot to do with getting fit and healthy.
No diets, no sacrifice, simply a change in mindset.

At whatever age this is the best way to get fit and healthy, don't think about losing weight as that implies that you are overweight and this can cause depression if you are not happy with how you are.
Focus on what you can do to improve yourself in a positive way, enjoy shopping for more healthy food and cooking healthy recipes, it has to be about enjoyment otherwise it will be an uphill struggle.
On days where the motivation is low pop in here and watch a motivational video, read a few quotes, get encouragement.
And remember whatever happend have fun with it all!
