When thinking about getting fitter and healthier I think sleep is an area which is often overlooked. It is very important to get enough sleep or we will not be able to perform well during the day, it is also important not to get too much.
If I sleep too long in the morning, which doesn't happen very often, I know I always get a headache and feel groggy.
Our body replenishes our energy when we sleep, we dream, which is good for us. However, many things can influence the quality of the sleep we get, stress, worry, physical pain etc.
